For example, Marks says that whether you're running a coffee shop or a roofing company, 80% of the issues (accounting, security, employees, motivation, etc.) are similar. Only 20% of what you do is unique to your business. His point is that if you find a solution you like, someone should be able to customize it to fit your specific business. Because of the cloud, "we are able to employ resources from anywhere," he says. Marks is a prolific writer on business, technology and the economy.
